I just ordered a two years subscription to Beckett Hockey that includes 2 free card gradings. I've been going to get a subscription for years now.
I haven't bought them regularly since the 1990's because I haven't really cared the value of my cards. Figured with running a website on sports cards I should try keeping a pulse on the industry. I've been getting subscriptions to all my magazines lately trying to save both time and money.
I have to admit, I was a bit shocked to see they only publish 6 times a year now. Anyone know which months they are?
Finally got a Beckett Hockey subscription!

I dont know but when I get beckett soon its going to be the online version. The one thing I can say I hate about the mags is they are so far behind, id be surprised if the next mag out even has series 2 even though its already been out on the online now for a few weeks. it often takes them 2 months or more to print values in the mag after they already have it up online which is updated at least once a month if not more often

I thus far have NOT been impressed with my subscription. The first issue I got was very very late, almost falling out of the packaging and the CD they sent was obliterated into tons of pieces. Then I was even madder when I found some "for a nominal fee, we can give you better packaging" - like, WTF!?
I figured because I had a subscription, I would get my mags around the same time or before the stores would - I've gotten them a few weeks later. I have a hard time wanting to sign-up on their website when I've heard about how ban happy they seem to be on their forums.
